Founded in June 2025, the Oireachtas Cross-Party Group on Pregnancy and Infant Loss brings together Senators, TDs and peers from across parties, as well as the Pregnancy Loss Research Group as expert advisors and support and advocacy groups Féileacáin and The Miscarriage Association of Ireland, to work on this vital issue.
The group's overall aim is to ensure that pregnancy and infant loss is central to Government policy in Ireland, by raising awareness, and informing action.
The group meets four times per year with monthly working meetings to progress key pieces of work, share updates and respond to issues opportunities or challenges as they arise. These meetings are usually held on the second tuesday of each month.
Membership
Open to members of Dáil Éireann or the Seanad.
The Group is chaired by Senator Nicole Ryan.
